About the Role:Progressive Distributors USA LLC is seeking a highly motivated
Sales Representative who will develop, work and maintain sales targets as well as upsell on quality goods. This is a Monday through Saturday job; however, it is not a normal 8-5 position. Extensive overtime will be required, especially during our high season November through April. Weekly schedule will be provided. Must be willing to process and learn Company systems. Must be punctual, honest, reliable and hardworking. Strong work ethics and a positive attitude will be required. Must be computer literate. Must speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
This role is responsible for all aspects of Progressive Distributors USA LLC business relationship with US customers ranging from business development, making cold calls, customer service matters, sourcing information about new products, selling new and existing products, account receivables & moving out any over stocked or short items.
Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years working sales experience in the food service industry, or minimum of 5 years culinary experience at management level is required.
- Must have foodservice sales experience of products such as meat, seafood & dry goods to restaurants and hotels.
- Must have extensive knowledge of food service products & grocery items & disposable products.
- Must be proficient with MS Office applications and especially advanced in the use of MS Excel.
- Must have excellent administrative and communication skills.
- The successful candidate must have the ability to drive and be able to travel extensively and work internationally.
- Must have at least Associates Degree
