We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing therapeutic massage treatments, and ensuring a safe and relaxing environment for all clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
• Administer various massage therapies, including sports massage, orthopedic stretch, deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas for pain management and relaxation.
• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa environment to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate clients on self-care techniques and wellness practices to enhance their overall health.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the treatment area to ensure client safety.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to effectively address client needs.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to patient care.
• Excellent patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
• Proficiency in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Experience or interest in occupational health practices is a plus.
• Ability to assess patient conditions accurately and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Strong communication skills for educating clients about their treatment options and wellness strategies.
