Job description

We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for implementing skill acquisition programs, to include but not limited to, communication skills, social skills, and adaptive skills. You will also be responsible for implementing strategies from the behavior support plan, designed by the Behavior Analyst, for behaviors targeted for reduction. All services are provided to clients in an individual or group setting. We are primarily clinic but occasionally schedule services in home, school, and daycares. If you are not an RBT, we can help you with this process.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure client safety at all times
  • Structure your session accordingly to implement programs that have been designed
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with clients
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner to reflect service delivery
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Clean and organize materials and the work area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with children with Autism preferred
  • Experience in handling challenging behaviors preferred
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Company Description

Learning through Behavior is actively hiring in the Killeen area. Experience is preferred, but not required. We offer therapeutic services founded in Applied Behavior Analysis to children of all ages and adults with a diagnosis of Autism. We provide both in-home, clinic, and community-based services. Predominantly, we offer clinic-based services. We offer competitive pay, paid vacation, and paid holidays. The schedule allows for some flexibility; however, normal hours of operation are between 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
