Land Rover Huntington is looking for Master Automotive Technicians to join our Service team in Huntington, NY!
Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years working as a Master Automotive Technician
Land Rover experience preferred
Must have valid Driver's License
CDK & Previous Automotive Dealership experience strongly preferred
Must have good attendance and time management
Must have a great work ethic & be willing to join a winning team!
Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic Responsibilities:
Visually inspect and document condition of vehicle based on customers’ requests or concerns
Conduct initial diagnostic testing to identify specific issues impacting vehicles
Perform more complex maintenance services on vehicles including (but not limited to) engine replacement, electrical work, transmission repair and more
Document all services and repairs performed to provide to service advisors and/or customers
Identify any additional recommendations for services and communicate with management
Communicate with other service staff and/or customers if additional services are required and ensure information is documented and outlined
Assist other service technicians or staff with questions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Answer high-level questions posed by customers and service staff
Maintain a clean and safe service department
