Title: Team Lead Supervisor
Wage: $63,026 Annually
Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 3:00pm-12:00am. OR Wednesday-Saturday, 3:00pm-12:00am

Reports To: Program Manager
This position has an introductory probationary period of 90 days.
THE POSITION: The Team Lead Supervisor (TLS) is a creative and dynamic leadership position that assists the Program Manager with overseeing program staff and managing the overall operations of the village shelter. The TLS oversees the Village when the Program Manager is not onsite. This position overlaps with the Program Manager for 1 hour (3pm-4pm) for crossover and collaboration before the Manager heads home for the day. TLS duties include assisting the Program Manager with overall site operations and staffing support, facilitating staff supervision(s), managing site schedules, daily participant support (de-escalation, progressive discipline, pod cleaning, program participation), and other related leadership tasks. This position will mentor their direct reports with kindness, compassion, equity, and trauma-informed care. The TLS will be responsible for ensuring that the mission of Do Good Multnomah is upheld and that the daily operations are completed by program staff.
THE PROGRAM: Clackamas Village offers safe, supportive and trauma-informed services for adults (18+ yrs), including historically marginalized individuals in the LGBTQIA2+ and BIPOC communities. The program supports both Veteran and civilian participants. The site consists of 24 pallet homes (pods), staff offices, a community space, and a participant laundry facility. The site offers case management services, housing placement, a food pantry, clothing closet, and 24/7 staffing. Clackamas Village opened in 2025. The Village builds on the success of the adjacent Veteran's Village (also operated by Do Good Multnomah). Participants maintain their stay at the Village by engaging in services and working towards accomplishing their end goal of safe, permanent housing. Staff support participants with obtaining health care, identification, social security card and benefits, SNAP benefits, job and housing searches, debt reduction and more.
HIPAA REQUIREMENTS: This position will have access to Protected Health Information (PHI) during their work activities. Applying the minimum necessary standard of HIPAA, the designated record sets to which this position may have access include all sections of the medical record, patient demographic information in the practice management system, etc. This position is required to read the content of these records only to the extent needed to accomplish the assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the oversight of services and programming in a manner that is consistent with Do Good's mission, values, policies, and procedures.
- Assist the Program Manager in formally training and supervising all program staff, including monthly individual supervisions and annual performance reviews.
- Provide leadership, support, and positive role modeling for program staff. Model proper adherence to policies and procedures across the organization.
- Give directions and delegate mission-centered tasks to staff. Empower staff to take initiative and collaborate to solve problems.
- Manage the monthly schedules and bi-monthly timecards of all direct reports.
- Assume team management responsibilities when the Program Manager is unavailable.
- Facilitate staff and team meetings in the absence of the manager. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings within the scope of practice, including internal leadership and management meetings.
- Contribute to the selection of new staff during applicant selection and interviewing processes.
- Model and encourage direct, kind, and clear communication and collaboration among staff members across the organization, with participants and community partners to ensure a positive support network.
- Follow protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for participants and staff as mandated by funders and other internal/external oversights.
- Participate in compliance, quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
- Ensure OSHA compliance (including SDS binder, injury reports with SAIF claims, etc.) as well as all food safety at site as per the Oregon Health Authority.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy and security regulations applicable to the program, and to Do Good Multnomah’s policies and agreements regarding confidentiality, privacy, and security.

- Knowledge of and experience with addressing and supporting an escalated participant through proper trauma-informed de-escalation and engagement techniques. Ability to maintain a calm and compassionate demeanor under pressure.
- Ability to use motivational interviewing techniques, strengths-based advocacy, and trauma-informed care with staff and participants.
- Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries with both participants and staff, including utilizing discernment to know what is appropriate to share and what is confidential.
- Ability to display a non-judgmental and non-biased attitude at all levels of the organization.
- Ability and willingness to treat all co-workers and participants with respect and dignity, while being mindful of diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliations, cultural backgrounds, genders, and sexual orientations.
- Ability and willingness to engage in Do Good’s DEIA work at site(s). Commitment to ongoing DEIA learning, growth and development.
