Job Description
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support Mission critical production environment along with Validation, Test and Development environments including On-call role (24/7)
- Supporting Triaging issues and Providing root cause analysis
- Provide solution to improve system Performance tuning/optimization.
- Capacity planning amp; Forecasting
- Proactive monitoring and address potential issues
- Oracle DB amp; eBusiness Suite (EBS) cloning, Patching, Upgrade
- Backup amp; Restore of Database and Applications
- Maintain and Support to Keep DR system in sync with prod
- Support Change migration to various environments
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
- BS/BA in Information Technology or related technical discipline
- 7+ years' experience within Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) applications environment (installation, configuration, upgrade, patching). Preferably R12.2.x environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and performance testing and optimization
- Experience in OBIEE, SOA, Oracle IDM/SSO, GRC installations, configuration, patching and production support
- Experience in designing, developing, and testing updates and new enhancements within RDBMS and Oracle DB Concepts.
- Capacity planning and High Availability configuration with DR setup and configuration experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in archive and purge solution for EBS R12.2
- Experience with Informatica archive solution
- Knowledge and expertise on change migration tools
- Knowledge and expertise on automation (Shell, Perl scripting)
- Knowledge of Exadata engineered systems
