  • Consistently produce high-quality products that meet the dimensional specifications of mechanical engineering drawings.

  • Calculate and verify dimensions of metal parts prior to welding.

  • Use appropriate tools to contour weld parts and components to meet complex and tight-tolerance configuration requirements.

  • Lay out, position, align, and secure metal parts prior to welding.

  • Perform component setup and basic digital programming on welding equipment controls.

  • Fill holes and correct bulges or bends using appropriate metalworking techniques.

  • Clean welded metal by removing excess weld, slag, and spatter.

  • Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure compliance with required specifications.

  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.

  • Comply with all applicable ISO and OSHA standards related to job responsibilities.

  • Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are undamaged and safe for use.

  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

  • Maintain welding equipment and machinery in proper working condition.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Complete work assignments and priorities as directed by supervisors.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

  • Basic understanding of hardware, including bolt grades (e.g., Grade 5, Grade 8, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Ability to work well with others and contribute as part of a team.

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in workmanship.

  • Cooperate with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
