What We're Looking For:

  • Compassionate, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative care environment
  • At least one year of LPN experience preferred, especially in geriatric or long-term care
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
  • Current Louisiana LPN licensure
  • Proficient in computerized documentation and medication administration
  • Skilled in starting and monitoring IVs, performing treatments, and communicating effectively with RNs

What You Will Do:

Provide compassionate nursing care to a designated patient population under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Perform a range of direct and indirect care duties to support overall treatment and comfort of patients.

  • Administer medications accurately and timely
  • Document patient care and observations using computerized systems
  • Start and monitor IVs as ordered by physicians
  • Perform treatments including dressing changes
  • Report abnormal findings and patient status changes to the supervising RN promptly
