• Seeking a Hospitalist to join expanding program with a projected start date of November 2018.
• Must be BE/BC Internal Medicine or Med-Peds trained.
• Full time – 15 shifts per month (combination of days and nights)
• This could be a Nocturnist position if you found someone wanting to do nights only, otherwise they will work a minimum of 6 nights per month
• When on shift, must be in hospital (very nice Hospitalist lounge)
• Open ICU and doing Procedures (there are no Intensivists on staff, our Hospitalists act as Intensivists but are supported by Pulmonologists)
• 86 bed Hospital includes 8 ICU beds, 8 Telemetry Beds, 20 Bed Geri Psych unit
• ED is Level 3 Trauma

• Supported by great employed Specialists (Infectious Disease, Interventional Cardiology (level 2 STEMI center) 4 General Surgeons, GI, Endocrinology, Neurology, 4 Orthopedic Surgeons, 4 employed Radiologists, Urology, Pulmonology, strong Anesthesia support, OB-Gyn and Pediatricians, Cancer Center on campus too)
• Physician turnover is less than 3% - this position is being added due to Growth of Hospitalist program (this will bring the team to 4 FT physicians, 1 PT physician who works 6 nights per month and 2 APP’s who only work days)

• Hospitalist group is employed by hospital like all other physicians

Compensation. The Starting Salary is $25,000 To $50,000 more compared to starting Hospitalist Medicine salaries in Kansas/ Tulsa. Coupled with a cost of living of 20% lower than the aforementioned metropolitan areas, provides significant purchasing power to build their dream home, payoff school loans and retire early.
