Human Resources and Billing Specialist  

IMMEDIATE OPENING - FULLTIME

We are a very successful five person non-medical homecare agency providing experienced caregivers to seniors who wish to remain living safely in their own homes.  

The Human Resources and Billing Specialist is responsible for recruitment, screening, hiring and maintenance of all related employer documentation.  Success will be measured by completeness and efficiency of information along with employee retention.  This position will report to the office manager for daily routine operations and to the president regarding any compliance or operational questions.  We are an office that works hard but likes to laugh a lot.  We require someone who will be very dependable, flexible and a TEAM player.  You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision at your job. Requirements:

Minimum 2 yrs. Related experience

Professional pleasant telephone voice a MUST

Must be able to pass a criminal background check/Drug Screen and be willing to take a Personality Profile Assessment


Principal Accountabilities:

*Demonstrate dependability

*Recruit and advertise for direct care staff for available consumer

*Run Criminal back ground checks on all new employees

*Ensure TB tests are obtained upon hire and annual testing records maintained

*Responsible for insuring all new hire paperwork is completed: and all new hire procedures followed

*Stay up to date with DOL, DHSSR and OSHA

*Conduct new caregiver staff orientation

*Assist with caregiver / client issues

*Provides accurate information to the Vice President for billing and payroll purposes

*Process billing through QuickBooks pro

*Assist in Payroll processing

*Reconcile caregiver overtime

*Serve as back up to Scheduling Coordinator

*Maintain professional relationships with clients and employees; assuring clients and employee's confidentiality*Independently respond to and resolve any client complaints or concerns

*Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Director of Health Services for direction

*Maintain and order office supplies, as needed

*Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by management team

*Must be proficient in Microsoft office
