The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, IN, an affiliate of the Indiana University School of Medicine, has an opening for a full time general otolaryngologist. The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible, be comfortable in a busy general otolaryngology practice, and be motivated to teach residents as well as medical and other professional students. Experience with functional nasal surgery desirable but not required. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to academic inquiry and teaching and will receive academic appointment commensurate with qualifications.
The Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center is a tertiary care, 209 bed hospital, serving approximately 64,000 veterans in Indiana and eastern Illinois, with an estimated 717,000 outpatient visits and 7900 inpatient admissions per year. The outpatient clinic is well-supplied with a microscope in each exam room, fiberoptic scopes, chip-in-tip scopes with recording capability, and a minor procedure room. Our dedicated clinic team includes a full time nurse practitioner, case manager, and support staff. The successful candidate will have a robust clinic and operative practice covering a wide spectrum of general otolaryngology patients and procedures, and will have the honor and privilege to serve those who have sacrificed in the service of our Country.
