Job Summary
A leader in providing services and technology for the mortgage and real estate industries is seeking a Telecommute Mortgage Underwriter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Underwriting correspondent loans on both a delegated and non-delegated basis
- Interpreting credit policy guidelines and investor guidelines
- Performing required analysis of property appraisal to ensure subject properties meet the company's appraisal criteria
Position Requirements Include:
- Employee engagement activities (examples include family baseball games, happy hour, bowling, trips to the zoo and other fun team-building activities)
- State and National Mortgage Loan Origination License (NMLS) preferred OR ability to obtain license immediately
- Excellent working knowledge of DU/LP/AUS, FHA Connection and Total Scorecard
- High degree of functional knowledge in mortgage subject matter and ability to communicate that expertise to all organizational levels within internal and external clients
