Job Summary
Global manufacturer of engineered wood products is filling a position for a Remote Construction Product Market Development Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Creating sales growth and demand for specialty building products
- Conducting product knowledge and product installation seminars for builders and contractors
- Participating in trade shows
Qualifications for this position include:
- Home office with frequent (50%) overnight travel visiting builders, architects, contractors, building officials
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 4-6 years of outside sales experience, with a history of cold calling and new customer development
- High level knowledge of local building codes, practices and market intelligence
- Thorough knowledge of compan products and their intended use and installation
- Proven builder sales history
