Family Beginnings Birthing Center

Uniontown Hospital, a quality oriented health care facility located 40 miles south of Pittsburgh and 26 miles north of Morgantown, West Virginia is seeking an individual to oversee the operations of our Family Beginnings Birthing Center. This department includes the Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Post and Ante-partum areas.

Average births per year are 950. Successful individual will have experience in daily operations, departmental planning, policy development and implementation. Additional responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, physician relations & regulatory compliance. Qualified individuals must be able to demonstrate successful building and maintenance of positive employee relations programs.

Applicants must possess a Pennsylvania Registered Nursing license and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Master of Science in Nursing preferred. Five years of Obstetrics experience is required.
