The Classification Consultant is responsible for classification as required by US Customs and Border Protection for entry of goods into the US on behalf of importers. Classify our clients’ products using a working knowledge and demonstrated ability to properly navigate and interpret the Harmonized Tariff Schedule. You must possess the ability to read, understand and apply the general rules of interpretation (GRI’s), section & chapter notes and have a good understanding of Customs' rulings, including Customs' ruling database.
