    We're a new kind of legal marketing company. Tootles is creating a smarter, simple way to match with top lawyers for divorce, wills, and trusts. We're focused on bringing together design-oriented culture with captivating visual storytelling to deliver a better experience for the next generation of consumers.

    Our goal is to shake up a traditionally boring and antiquated industry using design and lighthearted humor. Nonetheless, we take our work very seriously.

    Divorce and end of life planning are two of the hardest things people have to deal with in their lives, and our purpose is to make it a little easier for millennials to say goodbye. We wanted to build the experience we wanted for ourselves and our loved ones.

    You must be willing to step outside of the box, chase creative ideas, and challenge the status-quo, all while remembering the importance of project details and deadlines.

    Through this video production internship, you will receive hands-on training and experience working on various video projects for our partners and internally to enhance our marketing efforts.

    • Working with and supporting the Creative Directors with pre-production, production, and post-production tasks
    • Camera Operation in studio and field environments
    • Assist in Video Editing (edit, sync, color)
    • Assist in Pre-Production (Concept development, Scriptwriting, Budgeting, etc)
    • Technical/Creative Research for current and potential projects
    • Data Management
    • Assist at company functions in various roles.

  • Qualifications

    We're looking for creative individuals with a passion for storytelling who have the ability to deliver a humorous perspective to the next generation of consumers.

    • An inspiring portfolio/reel
    • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere (After FX is a plus) or Final Cut Pro
    • A background in videography, film, and photography
    • Strong conceptual thinking
    • MUST be local to NYC (flexible work environment
    • Applicants must be able to cut social media video assets, assists video series editing, and assist video productions process.
    • This is an unpaid internship for students looking for college credit.
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team or independently on your own
    • Excellent written and verbal communication
    • Research and organization skills
    • Reliable transportation
    • A good eye for design (typography, composition, color, etc)
    • Reliable transportation and ability to commit to a weekly schedule
    • Thorough knowledge of project management and respect of deadlines

    PLUS but not required:

    • Currently Enrolled in 4-year College Program in Film/TV/Video Production or similar field
    • Knowledge in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design.
    • Own equipment: Cameras, Lens, Tripod, Audio, Lighting, etc.
