Psych PA Needed for Perm Position in Rutland, VT.
Inpatient general floor rounding on patients. Rounding on Patients to check for stability and prescribe medication as directed. Provider will establish and record a plan of care, regulate and adjusts medications and treatments, monitors and records progress, evaluates plan of care and makes modifications accordingly. Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in the assessment of management of mental health problems, provides teaching and counseling aimed at prevention of illness and accident modification of risk factors to health, and maintenance of high level wellness.
EMR used - Meditech. Ages of patients: Young Adult - Adult. Average patients per day, 12-20.
Must work well under pressure!
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday 8am thru 5pm
Compensation: Competitive, depending on experience - please send your requirements with CV to be submitted.
Requirements:
*VT License and DEA - willing to wait for the right candidate
*Prefer provider to have 2 years` Psych/mental health experience AS A PA
*BLS, ACLS
*Board Certified
