Our 30-year old Managed Care Company is looking to add a Director of Business Development to their tenured team of professionals! Summary of the role:

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President, Business Development and guidance by the Chief Executive Officer, this position is responsible for the continued expansion and development of our corporate client list, to include 1) initial prospect identification and sales, 2) public relations efforts, 3) client/product-related quality assurance, 4) broker relationships, 5) general marketing support efforts, and 6) approval and quality assurance of all written proposals, presentation aides, etc.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree preferable.
  • Five years marketing/sales experience in HMO or similar environment required.
  • Some experience/involvement in healthcare client relations/claims/QA preferable.
  • Broker experience in managed care environment - large employer group face-to-face sales.
  • Ability to perform 50-75% travel.
