No visa' s. Seeking BC/BE Psychiatrists for either addiction or child/adolescent practices. Position 1: Addiction seeking a BC/BE Adult psychiatrist with sub specialization in addictions psychiatry or addictions medicine to join our existing group of collegial and supportive physicians. Our program has been part of the medical community since 1998 and we are looking to add to our family of physicians. Our Addiction Psychiatry position has inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Coordination of existing Inpatient and Intensive Outpatient services is anticipated. Our call system is VERY physician friendly with two physicians covering every week from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. After hours calls are directed to one of the two on duty physicians. This opportunity comes with an employment contract and physician benefits and starting salary is competitive with incentive compensation. (This can be between $2K-$20K per quarter). Office hours are from 7-4 or 8-5. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss the finer details with you and have you become part of our family of physicians! Position 2: Child/Adolescent 60 licensed bed inpatient facility configured as follows: 15 child-adolescent beds 20 Acute Beds 18 Mood Disorder beds The remaining 7 beds are utilized for our Access Center, essentially a psychiatric emergency room within the Behavioral Health Center. We have 10 psychiatrists employed by the hospital, one who helps prn in the area of child psychiatry and two other community based providers who are members of the Department of Psychiatry. Our needs include a child psychiatrist who will provide a pro-rata share of weekend rounding coverage approximately one weekend in 4-5 with two psychiatrists pairing together to provide coverage. This position would focus primarily on provision of outpatient services with occasional back up coverage for the inpatient child and adolescent unit. Weekday call is very light because we have an on-site physician who handles after hours calls from our outpatient and inpatient system. Evening on-site coverage is from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. 7 days per week. There are two child-adolescent psychiatrists on our medical staff.
