Job Description

Sickles Market wants to ensure that all of our customers are receiving the best shopping experience each time they walk into our store. Our Department Clerks are an integral part of the Sickles Market experience. As a Sickles Market Team Member, you will be providing exceptional customer service while supplying and replenishing a wide variety of products.·  

In addition, Clerk Team Members are responsible for cleaning, set-up, preparing, organizing, and assisting with daily functions for their respective departments and store. Team Members work closely with Department Managers and Supervisors to obtain information, identify needs, and help resolve problems.  Seeks to continuously improve service and product quality. Ensures that the Company's professional reputation is maintained and that superior customer service is provided. The following are role and responsibilities of the Clerk position:

Sickles Market is actively looking to fill clerk positions within the following departments: 

Cheese Department

Butcher Department

Deli Department (Deli Counter & Deli Stock)

Night Stock

Bakery Department

 

Qualifications

·         Proactively engage customers, promote product and sales, build customer relationships, and provide outstanding customer service that encourage customer loyalty and add value to the Sickles brand.

·         Maintain a strong time and attendance record to ensure the smooth flow of departmental operations.

·         Replenish department supplies frequently to ensure efficiency of workflow and employee job tasks.

·         Adhere to all department-related and company-related work rules and policies while upholding core values of integrity, respect and excellence.

·         Perform miscellaneous roles assigned by management that would help the team on an as-needed basis.
