Rogin Nassau, a midsized Hartford area law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal in our Commercial Real Estate department. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of real estate experience including both commercial and residential transactions. S/he will: Coordinate due diligence municipal searches with title insurance companies for commercial and real estate transactions Work with title companies, order title searches and obtain title policies Review and summarize UCC, judgment, tax and other liens Prepare documents including conveyance, mortgage and HUD/GFE for residential closings Prepare closing statements for commercial purchases and sales Prepare closing checklists, coordinate the closing process and follow up on post-closing matters Review and revise commercial leases; prepare lease summaries Open, close, organize and maintain files Interact with clients and other external parties Provide administrative support department attorneys Exceptional communication and organizational skills are a must.
