Job Description:Project Manager
Major architecture firm in Hartford CT seeks candidates for a Project Manager opening, within our growing dialysis and healthcare design team. Our firm is team-oriented and places strong value on client relations ? professionalism and interpersonal skills are a must. The firm is seeking an PM/Architect who thrives in team settings and can bring creative design abilities, excellent project-management skills, client-management finesse and construction documents knowledge to the team.
The PM must be able to handle multiple projects as the primary manager and work as a team member in the development of other more complex projects. As such, the PM bears the primary responsibility for the generation of assigned projects - taking them from schematic design through design development and construction documents. Responsibility includes the wide range of related tasks that may be necessary to complete a project - code compliance, cost estimating, project scheduling, value engineering, etc.
Requirements: Architectural registration, proven creative design skills, project management expertise, polished client management skills and a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field is required. Applicant must be able to work independently and possess solid technical and organizational skills. A dedication to design and strong project management, plan development and communication skills is required. Comfort with team interactions and light travel is a required. Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, Word, Excel is necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Registered Architect.
2. Proven creative design skills, project management expertise, and polished client management skills.
3. 7+ years of architectural design experience including strong healthcare design.
4. Mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, Word, and Excel.
