Job Description
Daily activities will include seeing patients in a forensic ward and they will have full medical and administrative backup. This position involves working in a "team environment" thus other PMHNPs on staff. All PMHNPs are overseen by a Psychiatric MD/DO. Basic duties are to diagnose and prescribe on the mental attributes of the patient.
No call duties are required. All physical health issues are handled by the IM/FPs. Average # of patients seen/day is only 4-6.
