Qualified applicants must be highly proficient in typing and the use of a personal computer; should have at least two years of experience related to the animal health industry; must have at least two years of responsible experience in an administrative support position using advanced skills in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; must be able to compose complete error-free correspondence and documents for a variety of target audiences on behalf of the business; must be able to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions; and must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 

Desirable Qualifications: able to efficiently and effectively multitask, responding to rapidly changing administrative, telephone and walk-in customer demands; are able to effectively communicate with customers, on occasion in difficult situations, while maintaining a professional demeanor; and are skilled at planning and organizing.

We are looking for self-starter that is friendly, collaborates and is dedicated to high-level efficiency.

Requirements include an associate’s degree from an accredited school and intermediate or expert proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, with strength in Excel. Veterinary hospital experience as a practice manager or hospital administrator is preferred (experience in marketing is a plus).
