Red Bull Account Sales Manager Job Description

 

Job Title: Red Bull Account Sales Manager / Presell

Department: Sales

Reports To:  Red Bull District Manager

Location:  Omaha

Hour/Week:  40+

Salary:  Base plus Incentives

 

Summary:  Promotes the sale of Red Bull to establishments in assigned territories by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Travels through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to talk with customers on site about current and potential business opportunities.
  • Displays product and emphasizes salable features.
  • Inventories and sells in proper amount of product.
  • Quotes prices, and credit terms on products; prepares sales orders obtained.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions; validates accuracy and troubleshoots discrepancies.
  • Confers with Red Bull District Manager to resolve customer problems.
  • Provides new customer data to business office for input into computer database.
  • Designs and incorporates new cooler sets.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Hangs signs and provides other promotional items to customers.
  • Maintains Red Bull coolers at retail by cleaning units, cleaning condensers and changing light bulbs.
  • Adheres to all Company safety guidelines.

Education and/or Experience                                  

High School diploma or general education degree.  Some College preferred; 3-6 month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Existing local market knowledge preferred.

 

Language Skills                                                              

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memo’s in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathmatical Skills                  

Strong mathematical skills required.

 

Computer Skills                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

Must be proficient with relevant computer software and communication tools.  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Encompass order processing systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.

 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds.

 

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
