As a Manufacturing / Operations Internship participant, you could work in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Safety, Lean. Selected students are matched with the opportunity best suited to their strengths and the needs of the business. Manufacturing / Operations internship assignments could include (but are not limited to):

• Analyze and evaluate manufacturing methods and standards. Provide solution to problems that adversely affect operator safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Develop and update process documentation and procedure instructions.
• Support day to day assembly line activity.
• Assist in development and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Support on going lean initiatives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects

Checklist for success:

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• Academic excellence: Minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA
• High level of integrity, thoroughness, flexibility, initiative and teamwork
• Ability to think outside the box in order to solve crucial problems
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal English communication skills
• Proof, upon hire, of unrestricted U.S. employment authorization is required
• Working knowledge of MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
