    What will my job really be?

    The Polaris Human Resources Internship Program (HRIP) accelerates career development for upcoming college students who wish to build a foundation of business knowledge and leadership skills. Through a series of hands-on assignments you will enhance your skills for future opportunities at Polaris post-graduation, specifically with the opportunity for consideration into our Human Resources Development Program (HRDP).

    During your internship you will be provided the support and resources you need to develop your business and leadership skills. You will also establish mentor relationships with our business leadership that will continue throughout a career at Polaris.

    What to expect:

    • A summer internship program, 12-15 weeks in duration where you will work alongside our full time team members to support the Human Resources Department.
    • Challenging assignments with personalized goals and projects that track directly to the needs of the business and allow you to have a hand in key company initiatives.
    • Collaborate on cross functional teams in order to design, develop and implement various projects.

    You will be placed into an assignment, based on interest and business need, in any of the following areas:

    • Generalist – field, corporate or manufacturing
    • Client groups such as product lines, marketing, sales, engineering, operations, other functions
    • Specialist – centers of excellence
    • Compensation/Benefits
    • Organization/Leadership Development
    • Talent Acquisition (staffing and recruiting)
    • International – As part of an assignment you could support an International Location, but will be US Based.

  • Qualifications

    Checklist for success:

    • Working towards at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Human Resources or other related areas. (Minimum overall GPA: 3.0)
    • Proficienty with Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
    • Proven strength in analysis and creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership
    • The drive to actively contribute to both personal and company-wide goals through creative and innovative thinking.
    • Previous Internship/Co-op experience in a Human Resources discipline.
    • U.S. work authorization, no work visa or residency sponsorship available for this job opening.
    • Geographic mobility
    • Passion for powersports and desire to ride
