At time in need of Home Health Aide Manager.

Some of the responsibilities are writing up disciplines if needed, having tough conversations, comfortable taking calls on the weekends occasionally from staff needing guidance. Also, someone that has a strong handle on home health business and state regulations. Friendly team environment with a “can do” culture. While the business is tough, it’s hard to manage employees, hard to drive to patients all day, but with each other’s support, they can do it together. This position occasionally drives to patient homes when training a new aide or observing performance.

Required:

Associate Degree in Nursing and minimum of three years job-related experience.

State of CT RN license.

If visits to patient's homes are needed, a current valid driver's license and access to a good working vehicle are required.

Minimum two years clinical experience, one of which is in the delivery of home health care; excellent organizational skills; flexible; experience with electronic medical records; excellent communication skills with a focus on conflict resolution and problem-solving;

Conducts hiring, orientation, and ongoing education of home health aide staff, makes home visits to supervise aide services, monitors the quality of services provided to patients, assists in the referral taking-process and interdisciplinary care planning.

Preferred: Bachelor Degree in nursing. Hours: 40 control hours.
