Well established group is seeking BC/BE physiatrists to join its multi-specialty practice.
This is a full-time employed position, with competitive benefits and compensation package.
The desired candidates will have a clinical focus on stroke, brain injury, musculo-skeletal medicine, and/or outpatient services with strong experience and interest in programmatic development.
Inpatient coverage and call required.
Sub-specialty certification in Neuromuscular Medicine or Brain Injury Medicine preferred.
The position supports the collaborative practice with the Neuroscience Center, which includes a Neuroscience ICU and Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Level I Trauma Center with 800 beds, the Cancer Institute, the Orthopedic Spine Center, and the Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
This position involves extensive collaboration at beautiful, 56-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility situated within an acute hospital, which allows patients access to critical care services and emergency treatment should the need arise. The program averages more than 1,100 admissions per year, with growth capability of up to 69 licensed beds. The multidisciplinary team approach here is progressive, using some of the latest in advanced technologies within a modern yet homelike environment, and is recognized as a premier provider of rehabilitative care.
