The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes from healthcare professionals with the skills and drive to work on behalf of the public in improving the quality of health care for all Minnesotans.

The office assists the state's health licensing boards in reviewing allegations of potential infractions by licensed health care professionals. Investigators review, and analyze documents; conduct interviews concerning complaint allegations; and prepare reports summarizing investigative findings. In this way, the office makes a positive difference in the lives of patients and protects the integrity of the health care system in our state.

Applicants should have the following background and experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in health care or related field;
  • Outstanding communication, writing, critical thinking and analytical skills;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical record keeping systems and prescribing practices.

Prior relevant experience is preferred. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional professional to work on behalf of the public in making Minnesota a safer, healthier state.
