Primary Function: Manages the administrative functions of the Academic Affairs Office, provides administrative support for the Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.   Oversees and coordinates faculty recruitment and other faculty functions and projects.  Supervises office staff and work-study students.

Qualifications: 

  • Post-secondary education required, Bachelors degree, preferred. 
  • Five years progressively responsible experience providing administrative support, including supervisory experience, budgeting, and knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.  Experience in an education environment, preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all college and community constituencies.
  • Ability to interact effectively as a member of a team.
  • Ability to oversee multiple, simultaneous projects.
  • Initiative and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Discretion and maturity to deal with confidential matters.
  • Computer skills in word-processing, spreadsheets including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn new software applications as required.
