My Client is one of the World's leading technical and scientific universities based in Zurich and is recruiting for an IT Systems Storage Specialist on a permanent basis.

The Storage Services Group is responsible for the provision of storage services including the setup, provision and system management of the central storage facilities of the organisation. Customer-oriented advice for managing and securing research and administrative data is commonplace.

To reinforce the group storage services we are looking for an experienced person:

As a Specialist, you will be responsible for:

* Supporting the group in providing a reliable and efficient operation of the IT systems

* Care of the operating systems and applications of the NAS systems and customer support

* Acting as the contact person for technical questions and advice

* Creation of concepts and standard procedures as well as cooperation in projects

The successful incumbent will possess a higher education certification as well as several years of experience as a System Administrator if larger IT systems. Ideally you will have knowledge in the area of storage services as well as storage components from different competitors.
