Your Mission:

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer. You’ll be responsible for the design, day-to-day management, and optimization of our digital marketing campaigns to support company revenue goals in Retail and Education markets. This role is responsible for leading demand generation efforts to drive product awareness, interest and converting traffic to retailers and e-commerce sites such as Amazon.com. As Digital Marketing Manager, you will align multi-channel demand campaigns to buyer persona and buyer journey insights to build trust and convert trust into sales among consumers and educators.


Requirements:

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience with an emphasis on generating demand (international experience a plus)

  • 2+ of e-commerce experience with an emphasis on Amazon.com

  • 3+ years of copywriting and content marketing experience (blogging experience a plus)

  • 3+ years of search engine marketing (SEM) experience

  • 2+ years of social media/influencer marketing experience

  • Experience using CRM, marketing automation, Google Analytics, Google Attribution, Facebook ads, Twitter ads

  • A data-driven mentality and a strong bias for A/B testing and experimentation

  • Experience with content marketing to support SEO and segmented email nurture tracks

  • Self-starter/self-motivated, capable of delivering against deadlines and able to thrive in a startup environment


Typical Duties Include:

  • Use a data-driven approach to plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to acquire new customers in Retail and e-Commerce channels

  • Write/edit email copy and ad copy to support campaign execution (email, paid social, video, Amazon PPC, etc.)

  • Produce content to support social media campaigns and e-newsletters

  • Implement assisted attribution tools to identify demand drivers for customer acquisition

  • Perform analysis of campaigns and deliver performance improvements through continual testing of keywords, images, ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, etc.

  • Track and report marketing spend and make budget reallocation recommendations

  • Generate and distribute weekly campaign performance reports to the leadership team as well as provide strategic analysis and optimization recommendations



Accountabilities/KPIs:

  • Increase email subscriber open rates from 10% to 20% over the next 6 months

  • Increase email click-thru rates from 4% to 8% over next 6 months

  • Double Amazon.com PPC conversion over next 6 months

  • Amazon.com average Advertising Cost of Sales (ACoS) under 20% during first year

  • Increase paid social media ad click-thru rates from 5% to 8% during first 6 months

  • Increase unique website visits by 5% per month over the first year
