Job Description

The primary focus of the Telemedicine Physician is to provide telemedicine consults to patients seeking non-narcotic pain alternatives.

Details:

• Part-time or full-time, locum position
• Flexible schedule that allows you to work remotely
• Monday through Friday, 8 am to 9 pm and weekends 9 am to 9 pm
• Work with Medicare patients, many who have had surgery or pain in their back or extremities and desire a type of brace
• Discuss treatment options and give proper care
• Assess each case and determine whether a prescription or orthotic is medically necessary
• Review each patient’s medical history provided to you by our clients before the consult
• Contact patients via phone and review their medical history along with products they are seeking
• Consults will average 15-20 minutes at first, then 8-10 minutes once becoming familiar with the process

Qualifications

• Valid Washington DC MD or DO license
• NPI number
• Medicare provider
• PECOS certification
• DEA preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Must be a resident of Washington D.C.
