Job Description

The primary focus of the Physician Assistant is to provide high-quality medical care to all patients of the community.

Details:

• Full-time, permanent position
• High-tech, modern facility
• Outpatient clinic and OR setting
• Patient rounding in the hospital
• Surgical assists in the OR
• Perform evaluations and follow-up care
• Evaluate trauma patients beginning with the admission phase through discharge
• Coordinate with the trauma team regarding patient assessments
• Perform and dictate H&P
• Collaborate with case managers and nurses on a plan of care for patients
• Initiate and follow-up on diagnostic evaluations and testing
• Communicate results with surgeons

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience as a surgery Physician Assistant
• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• Valid Oregon Physician Assistant license
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
