Job Description:

Mayville State University is seeking applicants for a full-time Director of Academic Records/Registrar. The Director of Academic Records/Registrar provides leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and management of activities and systems related to academic records and student registration. In addition, this position manages the student record database, oversees the security and integrity of academic records and ensures compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines.
The Director of Academic Records/Registrar must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.The Director of Academic Records/Registrar also relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Minimum qualifications:
1.Master's degree
2.3 years' professional experience and knowledge of the admissions process, practices, and policies, registration grade reporting, and the record keeping/management process.
3.Experience in student information system, Degree Audit Reporting System, Transferology, Perceptive Connect, and other software utilized in the North Dakota University System.
4.Experience in extracting institutional data necessary in developing and submitting institutional, federal and state
reports such as IPED's.
5.Cognizance of the legal issues relative to admissions and student records is essential.
Ability to establish effective records and registration procedures with knowledge of the interrelationship of the admission and records functions within the university.
6. Knowledge of federal and state laws, statues, campus processes, and awareness of law and policy proposals affecting data privacy, records management/keeping, and registration processes/functions.
7.The position requires planning, management, and communication skills, as well as understanding and
commitment to implementing computer-assisted systems.

Preferred qualifications:
1.Doctoral degree
2.Experience as an assistant/associate registrar or in admissions/records or related field.
3.5 years' professional experience and knowledge of the admissions process, practices, and policies, registration grade reporting, and the record keeping/management process.
4.Thorough experience in student information system(ConnectND), Degree Audit Reporting System, Transferology, Perceptive Connect, and other software utilized in the North Dakota University System.
5.Experience in extracting institutional data necessary in developing and submitting institutional, federal and state reports such as Enrollment Reporting to NDUS, Solomon, Alpha Phi Sigma, MSEP, Open Doors, and WUE.
6.Experience with international nonimmigrant students maintaining their compliance in the United States using SEVIS and/or serving as a DSO or PDSO for college international student program.
7.Excellent written, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to create queries through a server utilizing software and other enterprise systems.
