Position Overview

The ACO Clinical Liaison / Assistant Practice Manager is primarily responsible for managing relationships with ACO's, scheduling clinical providers at partner hospitals and skilled nursing facilities, and the credentialing process.  This position requires flexibility and the ability to travel between the primary office in Sarasota to the Naples area.  The ideal candidate will be an LPN or experienced CNA.

 

Essential Functions (Including, but not limited to)

  • Send necessary data to ACO on a weekly / daily basis, meeting with ACO's in person when necessary
  • Assist with the clinical provider credentialing process at hospitals and SNF's
    • Collection of credential from physicians, NP's, PA's, and completion of hospital/SNF applications
    • Verifications per current company policy to include receipt of responses and follow up
    • Analyze all information and documents received to ensure compliance and accuracy
    • Preparation of completed applications and submission to review by Hospital/SNF
  • Receive and process all requests for temporary privileges and additional privileges, ensuring compliance
  • Assist with scheduling of clinical providers at partner hospitals and SNF's, including composition of monthly schedules
  • Assist with orientations for new clinical providers as needed
  • Assist with fielding of phone calls and faxes when required
  • Other operational duties as required
  • Potential clinical assistance in hospital or SNF if needed

 

Requirements

  • LPN degree OR CNA with at least 4-5 years of experience
  • Must be willing to travel locally to hospitals/SNF's in Sarasota, as well as travel to Naples area on an as needed basis
  • Must be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities against deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Experience with clinical scheduling and/or hospital credentialing process strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office with the ability to learn new software quickly
