Skilled Crafts And Trades Manager 1 University Of California,- Kearney Ag Research and Extension Center, Parlier, CA.

Salary Range:$72,100 per year to mid-point $107,000 per year. Full time, Monday through Fridays, outstanding benefit package. Oversee maintenance department 30+ buildings on 330 acres. Coordinate/manage maintenance, service, repairs, improvements to utilities, equip, buildings, grounds. Manage custodial services. Oversite of service/maintenance contracts. Develop scope and contract specifications for service and construction projects. Budget Control, includes forecast utility costs, fund management, long/short term planning.

Demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical work and other building trades. Excellent organizational skills, supervision experience of maintenance and/or building trade staff. Knowledge/skill in refrigeration or electrical controls is preferred. Computerized Maintenance Management System & Energy Management or Building Automation System experience required. Experience in development/ implementation of energy savings projects preferred. Knowledge of Construction Safety & safe shop work practices is required. Must possess valid CDL, a Grade 1 or higher Treatment & Water Distribution Operator Certificate must be obtained within first year. Participates in DMV Pull Notice System. Required background check.
