Radio Advertising Sales

KAHI Radio in Auburn, a local FM and AM news talk station has an immediate opening for a full-time Radio Advertising Account Executive. Your prior media sales experience may make this the ideal position for you. KAHI has an active list of paying clients and is looking for an engaged and self-motivated person to step in and service these clients immediately. KAHI Radio offers a lower stress working environment, a small base pay, and a generous commission.

Relocating for this position may not be realistic. Local candidates will get first preference.

Responsibilities include:

• Meeting with current advertisers and maintaining on-going advertising relationships.
• Staying involved in the local business community to develop relationships and new advertising clients.
• Creating and coordinating advertising campaigns for your clients.
• Working with advertisers in producing recorded radio commercials.

Required Skills and Experience:

•  At least 1 year in media advertising sales
•  Ability to edit and produce radio commercials
•  Strong computer skills including desktop audio editing
•  Strong people skills and commitment to community involvement
•  Working with advertisers in producing recorded radio commercials.
