Currently seeking a full-time (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) RN Supervisor in the Family Birth Center.

~ The position reports to the Director of Inpatient Services.
~ The ideal candidate will have RN experience in Labor and Delivery/Mother/Baby as well as some Supervisor/Charge experience.
~ Approx 18 FTE reporting to this Supervisor.

The Supervisor of the Family Birth Center will oversee the daily clinical operations of the Family Birth Center and will report to the Director of Inpatient Services. The Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of budgeting; performance management; and human resources matters, including recruitment and the administration of disciplinary measures within the Family Birth Center. The Supervisor implements and supports safety protocols and regulations ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local requirements and meets all Joint Commission requirements. In addition, the Supervisor provides care at the bedside as needed and will collaborate and support the integration of department best practices to ensure safe, professional, quality care is provided to all patients while supporting the mission, vision and values of the health system.

Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a RN in the State of VT. Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
* Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience. Three (3) years clinical experience in obstetrics and pediatric care required. Familiarity with concepts of shared governance.
* Experience with LEAN and Studer philosophies preferred.
* Certifications: NRP, ACLS, PALS.
