Job Description

Seeking a Full-Time Permanent Geriatric Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner!

This psychiatric consultant group provides individualized treatment to a full spectrum of psychiatric disorders in a wide variety of populations. Their network utilizes a combination of board certified adult psychiatrists and child and adolescent psychiatrists. They provide care to children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population. Their services are provided in a range of setting including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment facilities, and outpatient offices, as well as medical hospitals, hursing homes, FQHCs and by tele-psych.

The Geriatric PMHNP will provide treatments including psychiatric evaluations, medication management services, and work with the treatment team. Will also work closely with the patient's guardians, families, and other providers to achieve the best outcome. The Psych NP will work with nationally based and local owned nursing homes.
