CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:    Warehouse/Delivery Driver - Bothell, WA

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Johnstone Supply has an immediate opening for a full-time Warehouse/Delivery Driver at our Bothell location. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support to both internal and external customers through the performance of a variety of warehouse and delivery duties.  A clean driving record and the ability to drive safely in all conditions are required.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

 

  • Load and unload customer orders and freight trucks.
  • Put away stock in the warehouse, and pull will-call orders for customer pick-up. 
  • Receive in daily rush orders and weekly Corporate orders.  
  • Maintain bin locations.
  • Process ship-outs that need to go from the branch. 
  • Process all warranty and returns and verify that paperwork has been neatly and properly filled out.    
  • Order and return compressed gas tanks as needed. 
  • Clean and straighten warehouse daily. 
  • Assist with counter/phone sales and calling customers to inform them of any backorders that are ready for pick-up on an as-needed basis. 
  • Attend ongoing training classes. 
  • Deliver customer orders to various locations via company vehicle.
  • Work well as a team player. 
  • Work on special projects as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE –

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Customer service aptitude. 
  • Past experience would include shipping/receiving, material handling, forklift, and delivery driving. 
  • Must possess and maintain a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Good communication/map reading skills.
  • Ability to lift 50-70 lbs daily.
  • Be reliable with good attendance. 
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks. 
  • Proven written and verbal communication competence, along with having good listening skills. 
  • Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration knowledge a plus.
