Design Manager - Electrical Controls

JBT Corporation has a position available for a Design Manager – Electrical Controls in the Sandusky, OH facility:

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate across the JBT organization to meet customer needs. Design, develop and support equipment including improvements to existing equipment designs and developing new equipment designs. Provide technical leadership to the electrical and controls engineering staff through the collaborative development of concepts and designs, review of electrical designs and engineering documentation, problem resolution, and troubleshooting of new and existing equipment. Manage the Electrical & Controls Group including resource and project management. Generate engineering procedures and guidelines. Ensure compliance with engineering procedures and guidelines, industry standards and practices, and governmental regulations applicable to electrical design of industrial equipment that is designed, developed, and manufactured by JBT.

Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Minimum of 7 years electrical and controls design and development experience including a minimum of 3 years of experience using Rockwell software, designing electrical and controls for industrial equipment and using AutoCAD Electrical. Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading or managing electrical and controls engineering teams in support of industrial equipment. Project management experience preferred.
