Client Service Representative / Administrative:
Interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about benefits, payments, status and services in addition to handling and resolving issues. Serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; manages front desk operations including mail and multi-line phone system. Assists multiple work teams with projects and administrative tasks as needed. Maintains client satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources and service to participants via phone & email.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to account inquiries and perform account audits when necessary with the ability to communicate results effectively and professionally.
  • Respond to participants and qualified beneficiaries regarding COBRA rights, processes and protocols
  • Manage, audit and process benefit data enrollment and communication files (EDI)
  • Comply with HIPAA security protocols while interacting with customers to protect personal information.
  • Perform data entry, eligibility and enrollment and payment processing
  • Account maintenance and payment reconciliation
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by providing assistance and support with projects and mailings
  • Cross-training with multiple departments to provide support and client services in all areas as needed.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of employee benefits, eligibility and enrollment, reimbursement accounts, COBRA continuation coverage and administration.


Skills/Qualifications:
Proven Client Service Skills, Telephone Skills, Verbal Communication, Demonstrated problem solving skills, Microsoft Office Skills – especially Word and Excel a must. Professionalism, Client-Focused, Highly Organized & Efficient, Informing Others, Handles Pressure, Multi-tasking, Managing Deadlines, etc.

Bachelor Degree required. Knowledge of employee benefits, COBRA administration, tax favored accounts and benefits administration preferred. Third Party Administrator, Benefits Administrator, Employee Benefits or HR background preferred.
