Certified Home Health Aides ( Chha )

Certified Home Health Aid-works under the supervision of an RN or Therapist to perform various professional care services as necessary to meet patient's needs. Responsible for observing patients and reporting/documenting observations and care performed. Must meet the following qualifications:

1. Meet training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws

2. At least 18 years of age

3. Possess and maintain good physical stamina and mental health by presenting a pre-employment physician's health clearence includent negative TB skin test and/or CXR and other tests as required by organization's policy

4. Licensed driver with an automobile insured in accordance with State of California and/or organization requirements all in good working order

5. Possess and maintains CPR certification

6. Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given

7. Self-directing with ability to work with little supervision

8. Empathy for needs of ill, injured, frail, and impaired

9. Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation

10. Demonstrates, tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
