Goodwill is seeking a dedicated, focused individual for an exciting opportunity as a Adult & Youth Services Facilitator. This is a challenging position responsible for the care and treatment of adults that have severe mental illnesses, children with emotional disturbances, and/or substance use disorders. A&Y Facilitators spend a majority of their days in the field assisting individuals with transportation, daily living skills, and advocacy necessary to maintain a healthy, independent lifestyle. Some duties include: • Formulating client-centered treatment plans with clinical coordinator • Coordinating agency and community resources • Providing supportive counseling and crisis intervention, as needed A qualified individual will have a Bachelor’s degree (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) plus 1500 hours experience working with adults with mental illnesses and /or substance use disorders and have their own vehicle with valid insurance. RequirementsA. Core Competencies:  1. Accuracy and attention to detail when documenting consumer contact, friendliness and courtesy to clients and employees 2. Effectively communicate and develop good working relationship with co-workers. 3. Professional workplace appearance and conduct. B. Knowledge and Experience:  1. Bachelor’s degree in Social Services plus 1500 hours of experience working with adults who have severe mental illness and/or substance use disorder. 2. Experience with treatment programs involving adults with mental illness and/or substance use disorder. C. License or Certificate:  1. None required. D. Physical/Sensory Demands:  1. Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds, climb two flights of stairs and use public transportation.  2. Must be able to assist clients with activities of daily living, such as shopping, cleaning and cooking. 3. Must own and be able to legally operate a vehicle and have necessary insurance.
