Housekeeping
Keeps common areas (such as lobby, restrooms, offices, and recreations areas) in a neat and clean condition. Ideal candidate is self-motivated, promotes a positive image of the property to residents and would be pleasant and friendly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms. Maintains stock and supplies as needed.
- Cleans and maintains community rooms and banquet halls.
- Vacuums, sweeps, mop, scrub, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Empties ashtrays and urns.
- Polishes furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuums and polishes elevators.
- Keeps the property free from trash.
- Reports any problem areas to supervisor and or Property Manager.
- Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment which he is using i.e., Vacuum cleaner, trolleys, Scrubbing machine. Maintains housekeeping carts.
- Responsible for maintaining a time schedule for cleaning of their areas.
- Other janitorial duties as assigned.
Experience
- 2+ years of similar housekeeping experience
- A positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Enthusiasm and energy
- Able to stand for long periods of time, stop, kneel, and bend.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Ability to read and comprehend and carry out simple instructions
