GRAPHIC DESIGNER

DC Solar is a clean energy company with a national presence that specializes in mobile solar products. We are looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who wants to become part of our innovative, team-oriented and rapidly growing company located in Benicia, CA.

Position Description:

The Graphic Designer will create and develop branded content for DC Solar and its related companies.  This role will be responsible for design, visual art and branding.  Deliverables include print, presentation, web, digital content, web and multimedia design and related output.  The Graphic Designer may manage projects both alone as an individual contributor and in collaboration with our Marketing team and other key personnel. 

This is a full-time job and offers benefits.  This position is located at our corporate office in Benicia, CA.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Report to the Director of Media and Creative and support DC Solar and companies’ visual brand standards.
• Conceptualize, design and produce marketing material internally and externally (including decks and PowerPoint presentations), training and production manuals, type treatments, T-shirts, hats, print and online advertisements and documents, design concepts for videos, and more.
• Collaborate on web design and maintenance for all DC Solar related websites.
• Adhere to deadlines and be willing to work overtime and on weekends, including hours away from the office, as required.
• Serve as an ambassador, internally and externally, for DC Solar and related companies’ marketing initiatives and brand standards.

Requirements:  (included but not limited to)

• Experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects highly preferred.
• Deep and proven experience with PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign required.
• Web design/layout experience preferred but not a must.
• Demonstrated ability to create visual concepts, not just type treatments.
• Ability to draw and sketch a plus.
• MUST be motivated and a “go-getter” – this position requires resourcefulness and the ability to provide a variety of options and solutions to any challenge.
• Ability to collaborate with others in a corporate team environment and quickly fulfill requests.
• Excellent organization skills; detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and rapidly changing environment and to switch priorities seamlessly in order to focus on highest needs and provide time-sensitive deliverables.
