As a Behavioral Health Clinician I for PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), you will serve people in the community as part of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals. The PACT team works together to help adults with mental illness learn the tools to become and remain stable, healthy, and successful, living in the community. This is done through individual and group treatment modalities. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides assessments and direct services for people with serious and persistent mental illness and persons with co-occurring substance use issues enrolled in the PACT Program.

Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services to clients and families; review cases with supervisor, formulate diagnosis, assess appropriate treatment and case management interventions and coordinate care. Complete agency and DHS required paperwork in a timely fashion as well as maintain updated records on all clients assigned. Sr. CIS will be a role-model for CISs and assist in guiding them in their responsibilities.

The Behavioral Health Clinician I for our Integrated Case Management Services (ICMS) works in collaboration with the consumer in planning, implementing, and evaluating service provisions to maximize the client’s independence and success in the community. The Behavioral Health Clinician I completes initial assessments, prepares a treatment plan; provides case management services; documents ongoing treatment and discharge planning.

The Crisis Line Attendant (CLA) plays a pivotal role in providing essential services to individuals in crisis situations. This position entails answering the crisis line, managing dispatch operations, handling clinical documentation, delivering telephonic crisis interventions, and assisting with authorizations and insurance for our Mobile Response team. The CLA collaborates closely with Crisis Intervention Specialists (CIS), Case Managers, Perform Care, supervisors, and consumers to ensure the delivery of timely and high-quality services. The Behavioral Health Clinician I (BHCI), for CPC's Justice Involved Services (JIS) Program, provides crisis intervention and de-escalation services working in collaboration with law enforcement to help individuals avoid getting entangled with the criminal justice system, reduce incarcerations and link individuals to treatment.

The Mobile Crisis Assistant Program Coordinator is the direct clinical supervisor of the mobile response workers and provides individual and team supervision in office and while out in the field. The Mobile Crisis Assistant Program Coordinator will assist staff in providing crisis intervention to clients/families and assess appropriate treatment and case management interventions and ensure that these are effectively and efficiently implemented. The Mobile Crisis Assistant Program Coordinator will monitor utilization review of IIC services to ensure that clients are receiving effective, appropriate treatment and progressing throughout treatment. CPC Integrated Health is a non-profit, community-based agency that has provided mental health and substance use services in Monmouth and Ocean counties for over 65 years. The agency has multiple locations and programs located throughout Monmouth County, including a special education school. The successful candidate for this role is a Special Education Teacher who holds a Math certification and TOSD, with a passion for working with students of different ages and academic levels.

As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will be an integral part of a professional team delivering Crisis Response services around the clock, seven days a week. You will provide targeted services and interventions for up to 72 hours, working a combination of day and evening shifts, and occasional weekends. Your primary responsibilities include conducting initial assessments of clients' needs, developing Individual Crisis Plans to enhance the functioning and mental health of both children and families, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agency requirements. This role also involves ongoing client re-evaluation throughout treatment, with at least weekly calls to clients, documented in a timely manner. Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication with clients.
