Housekeeping Supervisor – Environmental Services

Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is in need of a full-time Environmental Services Supervisor to join a dynamic leadership team.  This position includes oversight of housekeeping staff (day/evening shifts), operational leadership and innovation. This is a fast-paced position overseeing 30-40 housekeeping employees per shift.  Responsibilities include ensuring proper patient area cleaning, floor care work, project work, medical waste management, discharge and terminal cleaning.  Evaluates and monitors quality improvement indicators for safety and sanitation utilizing established programs and standards.  Requires: 3+ years’ experience in supervising housekeeping staff in very large facilities, knowledge of proper use of cleaning fluids, and excellent communication skills.  Must have basic MS Office skills.  Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
